It has come to our attention that scammers, pretending to be employees of small or large and trusted companies, have been targeting job seekers and asking them for personal information or money. They may occasionally conduct fake interviews and promise jobs to candidates, and request that candidates share credit card or banking information in order to purchase equipment or set up direct deposit.

What to look out for

  • All communication from our employees for recruitment matters is delivered through an e-mail address ending with @genfit.com or @genfit.gestmax.fr. If you have been contacted from a different address, and most particularly from a free e-mail account, such as @gmail.com or @yahoo.com, it is likely to be fraudulent and you should exercise caution.
  • All of our job opportunities are available at jobs.genfit.com. GENFIT does not advertise jobs on social media such as Facebook, TikTok or Instagram.
  • All jobs advertised by GENFIT on LinkedIn or other job boards can also be found at jobs.genfit.com. Scammers will often request money or banking information from you. GENFIT will never ask you for money or banking information at any point during the recruitment process.
  • Scammers may also try to obtain sensitive personal information from you, such as your home address, date of birth or social security number. Please exercise caution.
  • GENFIT will never ask candidates or future employees to purchase their own equipment or initiate any expense on behalf of the company.
  • Many scams advertise data entry or entry-level, remote positions: please use extra caution and refer to jobs.genfit.com for all our posted jobs.
  • GENFIT does not conduct any interviews via Telegram, Whatsapp or Google Hangouts, nor do we conduct any interview via text message or chat.
  • In case of doubt, please contact us using our online form so that we can verify that your interaction with GENFIT is legitimate.

If you believe you have been the victim of a scammer, please file a report with the Federal Trade Commission or contact your local authorities.
